Description
In the photo you can see a rainbow. At the bottom of that arch is sometimes a pot of gold, in this case it is only a pot of aluminum, but a very large one!
Built as a Russian lifeboat in 1964 for the Russian passenger ship “Ivan Franko” (Russian poet). See if you want this ship website: Ivan Franko. With the help of design agency W. de Vries Lentsch, the ship is equipped with a centreboard box with aluminium centreboard (drying out easily possible) and rigging. The length of 10 meters and the large width of 3.75 meters creates a very generous “fisherman” sloop with a surprising interior.
The owner has the ship for 16 years now and has had a lot of fun with it. The engine was replaced in 2014 by Bakker Protech in Warmond by a new modern Solé 3-cylinder of 33 hp.
